Key Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations for Steefo Steels LLP's Ahmedabad facility, ensuring financial accuracy within the metal manufacturing environment. Process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and manage accounts payable for the procurement of raw materials and operational services essential to industrial production. Assist with Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, including data compilation for returns, and ensure accurate calculation and filing of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). Support the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts, providing insights relevant to the steel and metal product industry in Gujarat. Collaborate with the production and inventory teams to reconcile stock movements and valuations, ensuring accurate cost accounting for manufactured metal products. Participate in internal audits and provide necessary documentation to ensure financial integrity and compliance with regulatory standards specific to industrial operations. Essential Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience required. Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field from a recognized institution. Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime, and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS regulations pertinent to a manufacturing entity like Steefo Steels LLP. Demonstrated ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently within a fast-paced industrial environment, preferably in the metal or heavy engineering sector. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving in financial reconciliation specific to product inventory and operational costs.
