We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join Aashi Rainwear. Key Responsibilities: Understand customer requirements and coordinate for new product development and sampling . Coordinate with customers, sales team, production team, purchase team, suppliers and manufacturing units. Follow up on samples, product specifications, approvals, modifications and production timelines . Prepare and maintain product details, costing, specifications, order sheets and other merchandising records . Coordinate with factories and vendors to ensure products are manufactured as per approved samples and customer requirements . Follow up on production status and ensure timely completion and delivery of orders . Coordinate for raw materials, fabrics, accessories, colours, sizes, packaging and other product requirements. Assist in product costing and price calculations in coordination with the concerned teams. Monitor orders from order confirmation/PO to production, quality checking and final dispatch . Identify and communicate any production, quality, material or delivery-related issues and follow up for timely resolution. Assist in developing new products and improving existing products based on customer requirements and market trends. Maintain proper records of samples, approvals, costing, purchase orders, production status and despatches. Ensure good coordination and timely communication between different departments. Reporting to Senior Manager – Business Development. Candidate Requirements: 3–5 years of relevant experience in Merchandising . Experience in Garments, Rainwear, Winterwear or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred. Basic understanding of product development, sampling, costing, materials and production processes . Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, MS Power Point and basic computer operations . Good communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate should be comfortable communicating with customers, vendors, suppliers and factory teams . Good follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines . Should be responsible, organized, detail-oriented and willing to learn . Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with the team. Good communication and coordination skills are required. English, Hindi, Gujarati knowledge will be preferred . Preferred Qualifications: Graduation in Textile, Garments, Fashion, Manufacturing or a related field will be preferred. However, relevant work experience and practical merchandising knowledge will be given importance.
