Key Responsibilities: Lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities for Ganesh PET's plastic manufacturing operations in Changodar, Gujarat, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery across our 51-100 employee facility. Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for critical Plastic Raw Materials, Polymers & Compounds, including PET and various Commodity Plastics, aligning with production demands. Oversee the purchase of specialized Masterbatch (Color, Additive, Filler) and a wide range of Plastic Molding & Molded Components (Injection, Blow,) essential for our diverse product lines. Source finished Plastic Bottles, Containers & Cans (HDPE, PET, PP), and associated Caps, Closures & Lids, maintaining robust supplier relationships and supply chain efficiency. Implement robust inventory management strategies and conduct thorough vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management to secure favorable terms aligned with industrial purchasing best practices. Drive cost reduction initiatives and ensure timely procurement to support Ganesh PET’s continuous manufacturing operations and growth within the plastic industry. Essential Requirements: Minimum 2 years and maximum 10 years of experience required. Demonstrable expertise in the plastic industry, with a strong understanding of industrial operations and a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proven track record in purchasing Plastic Raw Materials, Polymers & Compounds, specifically PET & Commodity Plastics, within a similar organizational structure. Technical knowledge and procurement experience related to Plastic Molding & Molded Components (Injection, Blow, Roto), Masterbatch (Color, Additive, Filler), and final products like Plastic Bottles, Containers & Cans (HDPE, PET, PP), Caps, Closures & Lids. Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, crucial for managing Ganesh PET's supply chain and vendor relationships in Changodar, Gujarat. Ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing setting and contribute effectively to a medium-sized company focused on plastic production.
