Job description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for a pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing company. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, engineering components, fabrication items, electrical & pneumatic parts, vendor development, negotiation, and ensuring timely procurement as per production schedules. Key Responsibilities Handle end-to-end procurement activities for pharma machinery manufacturing. Purchase engineering items such as: SS raw materials Fabrication materials Motors, gearboxes, bearings Pneumatic & electrical components Valves, sensors, PLC-related items Develop and maintain vendor relationships. Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain procurement records. Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, and Accounts departments. Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages. Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production deadlines. Conduct vendor evaluation and new vendor development. Maintain cost control and achieve procurement savings. Follow company purchase policies and quality standards. Handle ERP/MRP software entries and documentation.
