A Stretch Film Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining stretch film manufacturing or wrapping machines used in packaging operations. The operator ensures production targets, quality standards, and safety procedures are followed during machine operation. Key Responsibilities Operate stretch film extrusion or wrapping machines efficiently. Set up machines according to production requirements. Monitor machine performance and adjust settings when needed. Load raw materials such as plastic resin or film rolls. Inspect finished products for quality, thickness, and defects. Maintain production records and machine logs. Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major faults. Ensure workplace safety and follow company SOPs. Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance staff, and quality teams. Required Skills Basic knowledge of stretch film manufacturing or packaging processes. Ability to operate industrial machinery safely. Mechanical troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work in shifts. Good communication and teamwork skills. Qualifications High school diploma / ITI / Technical certification preferred. Experience in plastic film, packaging, or manufacturing industry is an advantage. Freshers may be considered for trainee positions. Working Conditions Factory or production plant environment. Standing for long periods. Handling machine parts and raw materials. Shift-based work, including night shifts if required. Salary Range (India) Fresher: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month Experienced Operator: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Depends on company, experience, and location)
