The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full product design process from ideation to production; mainly for precision plastic injection molded components. You will make 3d models for new concepts/designs, update current designs, make 2D drawings, prepare design documentation etc. During the creation process, you will ensure that designs meet all necessary design standards and requirements. Responsibilities: 3d modeling in Solidworks, update, and maintain designs. • Check for manufacturability and ease of assembly • 2d drawings and tolerancing • Create design documentation including keeping history • Prototyping/3d printing • Documentation for designing Qualifications: * Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree. * CAD experience in precision plastics injection molded components * Proficient in Solid works It would be great to have someone with exposure in Plastics injection mold design.
