We are looking for a skilled and experienced Turner to operate conventional lathe machines for producing precision machined components and spare parts as per customer drawings and specifications. The role involves hands-on turning operations to support our job work and textile machinery spares production. Key Responsibilities: Operate manual / conventional lathe machines Perform machining operations: Facing, turning, taper turning Thread cutting, drilling, boring Machine components such as: Shafts, bushes, sleeves, couplings, pump parts Read and work as per engineering drawings Use measuring tools: Vernier caliper Micrometer Maintain job accuracy & tolerances Follow quality and safety guidelines Maintain machine and work area cleanliness Essential Requirements: Manual lathe operation Basic machining knowledge Drawing reading Measurement & inspection skills Basic knowledge of CNC turning is a plus but not mandatory Ability to work independently and in a team on the shop floor Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity Required Qualifications and Experience Education: ITI in Turner Trade (preferred) or equivalent certification from a recognized institute. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage. Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Turner in a precision machining shop, engineering works, or job work unit. Experience with textile machinery spares or similar components is highly desirable.
