Key responsibilities Plan and execute daily production for 132 kV class power transformers and solar inverter duty transformers (IDT) against the delivery schedule. Supervise core building, coil winding, insulation, active part assembly, drying, tanking and final assembly. Read and apply design drawings, bills of material and customer specifications on the shop floor, including the special design needs of IDTs such as multi-winding. Coordinate with design, quality, stores and testing teams so materials, drawings and test slots are ready on time. Ensure every unit passes in-process checks and routine, type and special tests as per IEC / IS standards and customer requirements. Track manpower, machine use and material consumption; cut rework, scrap and idle time. Investigate non-conformities and test failures, find root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions. Enforce safety, housekeeping and 5S practices, particularly around lifting, oven drying, oil filling and high-voltage testing. Maintain production records, job cards and daily progress reports for management.
