Purchase Executive / Purchase Officer – Job Description Source and procure raw materials, components, consumables, and services as per production and business requirements. Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors. Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and issue purchase orders. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production, stores, and planning teams to ensure timely material availability. Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays or supply issues. Verify purchase documentation, invoices, and goods receipt records for accuracy and compliance. Monitor supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness, and initiate corrective actions where required.
