Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive quality inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods, specifically focusing on metal products such as Coils, Sheets, and Plates manufactured at ENSTAR STEEL PROCESSING PVT.LTD's facility in Khopoli, Maharashtra. Ensure strict adherence to national and international quality standards, client specifications, and internal control plans within our 51-100 employee metal processing operation. Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) in a dynamic industrial manufacturing environment to verify product dimensions and characteristics. Document all inspection findings, including non-conformities, deviations, and rework, maintaining meticulous records for traceability and continuous improvement in the steel processing sector. Collaborate proactively with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues, implement effective corrective and preventive actions, and optimize processing efficiency for steel products. Conduct visual and dimensional checks to ensure the structural integrity and surface finish of processed Coils, Sheets, and Plates meet stringent quality benchmarks. Contribute to the development and enhancement of quality control procedures and work instructions relevant to our specialized metal industry operations. Essential Requirements: Minimum 2 years and maximum 3 years of experience required. Proven technical expertise as a QA/QC Inspector within the Metal industry, with specific experience in Coils, Sheets, and Plate processing environments. Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and their application in a manufacturing setting, relevant to ENSTAR STEEL PROCESSING PVT.LTD. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and quality specifications essential for inspecting complex metal components. Ability to perform various NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods or supervise their application, coupled with a keen eye for detail in identifying material defects in industrial operations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address quality challenges in industrial operations in Khopoli, India. Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams in our growing company.
