Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily production operations at Indish Electro Power Pvt Ltd in Moraiya, Gujarat, ensuring efficient manufacturing of metal products, including coils, sheets, plates, and structural steel components like channels, angles, beams, and flats. Lead and supervise a production team of 21-50 employees, fostering a safe and productive industrial environment while adhering to company policies and quality standards specific to metal fabrication. Implement and monitor production schedules, optimizing resource allocation to meet output targets and delivery deadlines for various specialized metal products, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. Conduct regular quality inspections on raw materials and finished goods, collaborating with quality control to uphold the high standards expected within the metal industry. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues on the production floor, demonstrating technical expertise in metalworking processes to ensure continuous flow and minimal downtime. Provide training and mentorship to production staff on best practices, machinery operation, and strict safety protocols relevant to our metal manufacturing environment. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and overall operational excellence for metal component production. Essential Requirements: Minimum 2 years and maximum 6 years of experience required. Demonstrable experience as a Production Supervisor or a similar leadership role within the metal manufacturing or heavy industrial sector, preferably in a small to medium-sized enterprise like Indish Electro Power Pvt Ltd. Profound technical expertise in metal fabrication, with hands-on experience in processing coils, sheet/plate materials, and various structural steel profiles (channels, angles, beams, flats). Proven ability to effectively manage, motivate, and develop a production team within a fast-paced industrial setting. Solid understanding of production planning methodologies, quality control systems, and stringent safety regulations pertinent to metal production facilities in Gujarat. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset to address operational challenges and drive efficiency improvements. A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a closely related technical field is highly preferred.
