Plan, organize, and supervise daily fabrication activities as per the production schedule. Ensure fabrication work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines. Manage and guide fabrication teams, including welders, fitters, and helpers, to achieve production targets. Monitor welding, fitting, cutting, grinding, assembly, and other fabrication processes. Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety practices on the shop floor. Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department for inspections, welding procedures, and quality compliance. Check material availability and coordinate with stores and planning departments to avoid production delays. Review fabrication drawings, BOMs, and work instructions before starting jobs. Maintain production records, daily progress reports, and manpower utilization reports. Identify and resolve production issues to improve efficiency and reduce rework. Coordinate with engineering, planning, and maintenance teams for smooth production operations.
