Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the entire production operations for Extruded Plastic Products (Profiles, Tubes, Pipes) at Kun Industries Private Limited's Narol, Ahmedabad, Gujarat facility, ensuring optimal efficiency and output. Oversee daily production planning, scheduling, and execution, optimizing processes to maximize productivity and minimize downtime within a dynamic plastic manufacturing environment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles across the production floor, focusing on enhancing quality, reducing waste, and improving cost-effectiveness for plastic extrusion. Manage, mentor, and motivate a dedicated team of production personnel (21-50 employees), fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Ensure strict compliance with all quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies pertinent to industrial plastic operations. Responsible for raw material management, inventory control, and timely dispatch of finished Extruded Plastic Products. Analyze production data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to senior management, identifying areas for process optimization and strategic improvement. Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to plastic extrusion machinery, dies, and material properties, implementing effective solutions to maintain uninterrupted production. Essential Requirements: Minimum 5 years and maximum 10 years of experience required. Demonstrated experience as a Plant Head or Unit Head, specifically within the Plastic industry, with a strong focus on the manufacturing of Extruded Plastic Products (Profiles, Tubes, Pipes). In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in plastic extrusion processes, machinery maintenance, and material science, crucial for our operations at Kun Industries Private Limited. Proven leadership capability to effectively manage and develop a production team of 21-50 employees in a challenging manufacturing environment. Strong understanding and practical application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and continuous improvement methodologies for industrial plastic operations. Ability to manage production budgets, control operational costs, and drive efficiency improvements across the plant in Narol, Ahmedabad. Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for strategic decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
