Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair production machinery at Inter Care Tradelink, a small plastic manufacturing company (1-5 employees) based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Perform routine maintenance checks on all equipment within the production line to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime, crucial for our FRP/GRP products. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in equipment, using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Execute preventative maintenance schedules, meticulously documenting all work performed and identifying potential issues before they escalate. Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement improvements to machinery and processes, enhancing the efficiency of Inter Care Tradelink's operations. Fabricate or modify machine parts as needed, using workshop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures within the manufacturing environment, contributing to a safe working atmosphere at Inter Care Tradelink. Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery, ensuring proper setup and functionality for our plastic production needs. Contribute towards optimizing processes related to Technical Plastics manufacturing, leveraging knowledge of material properties. Essential Requirements: Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals relevant to industrial machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical systems in plastic industries. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment commonly used in maintenance and repair work. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment, with a strong commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicating with colleagues and supervisors at Inter Care Tradelink. Familiarity with FRP/GRP product manufacturing processes and machinery, with a focus on maintaining quality and efficiency.
