Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute comprehensive preventative and corrective maintenance programs for all machines Specialise in the inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of critical Plastic Machinery, Extrusion Machinery, and associated Die & Moulds, optimising their performance and longevity. Implement robust maintenance strategies to enhance the reliability of production assets, contributing to the efficiency of our 11-20 employee strong team in a fast-paced industrial setting. Maintain detailed maintenance records, manage spare parts inventory for key plastic manufacturing equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Maintenance department. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and quality standards, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with industrial regulations applicable to our operations in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Essential Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience required. A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering principles applicable to industrial operations. Proven hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of Plastic Machinery, Extrusion Machinery, and Die & Moulds, preferably gained within a high-volume manufacturing setting in the plastic industry. Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems common in the plastic manufacturing environment. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings effectively for precision maintenance tasks. Proactive approach to identifying potential equipment failures and implementing corrective actions to mitigate downtime.
