Location: Vasai/Virar, Maharashtra Position: HVAC Design Engineer Experience: 2–5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for pharmaceutical, cleanroom, healthcare, industrial and commercial projects , ensuring compliance with applicable GMP and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare HVAC system designs for cleanrooms, pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals and industrial projects. Perform HVAC load calculations , heat-load calculations and airflow calculations. Design and select AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, dehumidifiers, chillers, pumps, fans, ducting and related HVAC equipment . Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, piping layouts and equipment layouts. Prepare GA drawings, schematic drawings, P&ID and detailed HVAC drawings . Prepare equipment selection sheets, BOQ, technical specifications and material take-offs. Coordinate HVAC designs with MEP, architectural, electrical and civil teams . Review project requirements, client specifications and applicable standards. Support preparation of technical and techno-commercial offers . Coordinate with vendors for equipment selection and technical specifications. Visit project sites when required for surveys, measurements and technical discussions. Assist the project and site teams during installation, testing and commissioning. Ensure designs meet cGMP, WHO, USFDA, EU-GMP and applicable HVAC standards where required. Required Skills Good knowledge of HVAC system design and engineering . Experience in Cleanroom HVAC design will be an advantage. Knowledge of HVAC load calculations and equipment selection. Proficiency in AutoCAD ; knowledge of HVAC design software is an advantage. Good understanding of ducting, piping, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings. Good communication and coordination skills. Knowledge of pharmaceutical HVAC / cleanroom requirements is preferred. Educational Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Preferred Experience Experience in pharmaceutical HVAC, cleanroom, AHU, dehumidification or industrial HVAC projects will be preferred.
